Hello, I’m Anne - founder and travel advisor behind Travel Avara. I’m a lifelong traveler with over 20 years of experience planning thoughtful, meaningful trips for families and adventurers who want to explore the world without the stress of research, logistics, or endless decisions.
For as long as I can remember, I’ve been drawn to discovering new places, cultures, and connections. From the energy of Oktoberfest in Germany to quiet moments in small towns and National Parks across America, travel has been my way of learning, growing, and finding beauty in the world - one trip at a time.
What started as a personal passion for meticulously planning my own adventures slowly became something more. After years of designing trips for myself, my family, and friends, I realized not everyone enjoys or has time for the behind-the-scenes work that goes into creating a great trip. I do. And that’s why I created Travel Avara.

Travel Avara was born out of a simple idea: to help others experience the joy of travel - without the overwhelm.
